Driving Instructors In Sligo

With the introduction of EDT (essential driver training)  in April 2011, it is compulsory for all new learner drivers (category 'B') to sit a mandatory minimum of 12 driving lessons with a registered RSA Driving instructor before they can sit their driving test. Please note that only RSA approved driving schools are listed on driving schools Sligo. 

With the cost of the driving test for the car and motorcycle now €85, it is important for learner drivers to practice under their sponsors supervision and only apply for the driving test when both you and your driving instructor feel you are ready. It is proposed that an 'R' plate is to be displayed by a novice driver for two years after they pass the driving test. This is to allow the novice driver time to build experience before being realised as competent driver.

The cost of the driving test for the truck and bus is currently €120. The cost of driving lessons for the truck and bus are nornally around €120 for a 2 hours.

Information on the driver CPC can be obtained here. This is now compulsory for all professional truck and bus drivers with some exceptions.
